Remote Estimator Position – Join Our Innovative Team

About the Role

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution processes. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of a project are considered in the estimation process. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Consult with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops
• Conduct value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
