About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments on networks, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees across the organization.
• Assist in the evaluation and integration of new security technologies.
• Participate in audit preparations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience as a Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Nessus, Qualys, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto Networks.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and incident response lifecycle.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIA, CISSP) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
