Join a fast-paced innovation hub where your insights drive real-world impact. We are seeking a brilliant Data Scientist to transform complex datasets into strategic growth engines from the comfort of your home office.

About the Role

At Nexus Analytics, we don’t just collect data; we translate it into a competitive advantage. As a Remote Data Scientist, you will be the bridge between raw information and executive decision-making. You will dive deep into massive datasets, uncover hidden patterns, and build predictive models that directly influence our product roadmap and customer experience.

This is not a role for someone who wants to simply run scripts. We are looking for a curious mind who asks “why” and “what if.” You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and product managers to deploy machine learning models that scale, ensuring our platform remains the gold standard in the industry.

Salary Range

$135,000 – $175,000 USD/year (Depending on experience and technical proficiency)

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Predictive Modeling

Develop, validate, and deploy sophisticated machine learning models to forecast user behavior and optimize operational efficiency. You will be responsible for the entire pipeline, from feature engineering to model tuning and A/B testing.

Data Storytelling & Visualization

Convert complex technical findings into clear, actionable narratives for non-technical stakeholders. You will create high-impact dashboards that allow leadership to monitor KPIs in real-time.

Infrastructure Optimization

Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to refine our data architecture, ensuring that data pipelines are robust, scalable, and optimized for high-performance querying.

Technical Requirements

To excel in this remote position, you should possess a strong foundation in the following:

  • Programming Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Python or R, with a deep understanding of libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • SQL Expertise: Ability to write complex, optimized queries to extract data from large-scale relational databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
  • Statistical Rigor: A strong grasp of probability, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis to ensure the mathematical validity of your models.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure for deploying and managing ML workloads.
  • Education: A Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is highly preferred.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

100% Remote Flexibility

We believe in results, not clock-watching. As long as you are based in Texas, you have full autonomy over your workspace and schedule, allowing for a perfect work-life integration.

Cutting-Edge Tech Stack

You won’t be fighting with legacy systems. We provide the latest hardware and software licenses you need to perform high-compute tasks efficiently from home.

Growth & Mentorship

We invest in our people. You will have a dedicated professional development budget for certifications, conferences, and advanced training to keep your skills at the forefront of the AI revolution.

Comprehensive Wellness Package

Beyond the competitive salary, we offer premium health insurance, a generous 401(k) match, and unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) to ensure you stay refreshed and inspired.

Who You Are

You are a problem solver by nature. You don’t wait for a ticket to be assigned; you find the inefficiency and propose a solution. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in an environment where you can take ownership of your projects from conception to deployment.
