About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects from a 100% remote work environment. In this role, you will coordinate technical teams, manage project scope, support design reviews, track budgets, and ensure deliverables meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

This is a high-visibility position for a results-driven engineer who can balance technical accuracy with strong project leadership. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and field teams to move projects from concept through completion while maintaining clear communication and organized documentation.

Salary Range

Estimated Salary Range: $115,000 – $155,000 USD per year

Compensation may vary based on experience, technical specialization, project complexity, certifications, and demonstrated leadership in engineering project management. High-performing candidates with advanced technical expertise and a strong record of delivering large-scale projects may qualify for additional compensation consideration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, scope, risks, and deliverables with accuracy and accountability.
  • Coordinate with design teams, construction teams, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review technical documents, drawings, specifications, calculations, and project reports.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
  • Support procurement, contract coordination, cost tracking, and change management.
  • Prepare progress updates, executive summaries, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering project management, project engineering, or technical delivery.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design, construction processes, project controls, and documentation standards.
  • Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while meeting deadlines and expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with infrastructure, civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or energy projects.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
  • Background supporting client-facing engineering projects and technical presentations.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work-from-home opportunity with flexible scheduling.
  • Competitive salary based on experience and technical expertise.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Retirement savings plan with company contribution options.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and professional development support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Senior Project Engineer is organized, proactive, and confident leading complex technical projects without constant supervision. You should be comfortable communicating with executives, engineers, contractors, and clients while keeping projects aligned with scope, cost, schedule, and quality expectations.

If you are a remote-ready engineering professional with a strong track record of delivering successful projects, this opportunity offers the flexibility, responsibility, and growth potential to make a meaningful impact.
