About the Role & Your Impact

As a cornerstone of our remote care team, you will transition your bedside compassion and clinical judgment into a virtual setting. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and manage care plans, provide health education, and coordinate with physicians and specialists—all from your secure, private home workspace. Your role is pivotal in expanding access to quality care, reducing hospital readmissions, and improving health outcomes for a diverse patient population.

A Day in the Life of a Remote RN

• Begin with a team huddle via secure video conference to review daily patient priorities and alerts from remote monitoring devices.
• Conduct 15-30 minute synchronous video visits for follow-ups, medication management, and chronic disease education.
• Review and triage incoming patient messages and biometric data (e.g., blood pressure, glucose, weight) from our platform, escalating concerns as needed.
• Collaborate in real-time with primary care providers and pharmacists to adjust treatment plans.
• Document all interactions thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Provide empathetic support and clear instructions, ensuring patients feel heard and empowered.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

We need a proactive, communicative nurse who thrives in a digital environment. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with a passion for patient advocacy and comfort with telehealth technology.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state you reside. Multi-state licenses are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care, internal medicine, family practice, or chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, COPD).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA or equivalent).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Proficiency with computers, including multiple software applications, EHR systems (like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks), and high-speed internet.
• A private, quiet, and dedicated home workspace that meets HIPAA compliance standards for confidential conversations.

Highly Desired Skills

• Previous experience in a telehealth, nurse triage, or case management role.

Compensation & Benefits Package

We believe in compensating our nurses fairly for their critical expertise and commitment. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Salary Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $72,000 – $92,000 USD annually. Final compensation will be determined based on your relevant experience, licensure (including multi-state), certifications, and the specific needs of the program. Performance-based bonuses may be available.
