About the Role

As a Remote Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects that shape communities. What You’ll Do

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway plans
• Perform site assessments and analyze survey data, maps, and reports
• Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines
• Review blueprints and ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, and construction teams
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software for project documentation
• Conduct quality control reviews and field inspections as needed

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum 3-5 years of civil engineering experience in land development or municipal projects
• Experience with residential and commercial site design preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent design software
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal engineering regulations
• Experience with stormwater management and erosion control design
• Familiarity with GIS mapping and survey data interpretation
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 – $110,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications. Additional performance-based bonuses may be available.
