About the Role

As a Remote Attorney, you will handle case research, draft legal documents, represent clients in negotiations, and advise on compliance and risk management. You’ll partner with paralegals, senior counsel, and clients to develop strategic solutions that meet business objectives and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Provide timely legal advice to internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Manage litigation files, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Stay current with evolving legal trends and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, corporate law, or related practice areas.
• Strong analytical, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.
• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
