About the Role

As a Remote Surveyor, you’ll play a critical role in our operations by analyzing land boundaries, creating detailed maps, and providing expert spatial data that drives successful project outcomes. You’ll work closely with our engineering, architecture, and construction teams to ensure accuracy and compliance across all deliverables.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct boundary surveys and property line determinations using advanced surveying software and techniques
• Create precise maps, plats, and legal descriptions for residential, commercial, and industrial properties
• Utilize GPS, GIS, and remote sensing technologies to collect and analyze spatial data
• Review title documents, deeds, and easements to verify property boundaries and ownership
• Prepare comprehensive survey reports and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and attorneys on development projects
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal surveying standards and regulations

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
• Professional Surveyor (PS) license or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and methodologies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS platforms
• Experience with GPS equipment, total stations, and other surveying instruments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
• Solid understanding of property law and boundary regulations
