About the Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud architectures. You’ll evaluate emerging cloud services, create detailed design documents, and guide migration strategies that ensure high availability, performance, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop architecture blueprints, including networking, storage, compute, and security layers.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses and recommend optimization strategies to reduce TCO.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept projects and validate new services before enterprise adoption.
• Mentor engineers on cloud best practices, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and DevOps pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Participate in incident reviews and drive continuous improvement of reliability metrics.

Requirements

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and managing cloud environments.
• Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with multi‑cloud strategies.
• Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong grasp of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, load balancing, DNS, VPN/Direct Connect).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Understanding of security fundamentals: IAM, encryption, secret management, and threat modeling.
