About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed quantity takeoffs and material cost estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst).
• Research market pricing trends for labor, materials, and equipment to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare clear, concise, and professional bid proposals and cost reports for clients and management.
• Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities within project scopes.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation supporting all estimates.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need a proven track record and specific qualifications:

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
• Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates within tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in construction cost estimating software (Bluebeam, ProEst, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents (drawings, specs).
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) for presenting estimates and collaborating remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Current resident of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
