About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems for various types of buildings and facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire alarms, and suppression systems
• Perform fire risk assessments and hazard analyses for diverse building types
• Create detailed technical documentation and compliance reports
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams remotely
• Stay current with evolving fire safety codes and regulations
• Provide expert consultation on fire protection strategies

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection system design
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
• Experience with fire modeling software (e.g., FDS, Pyrosim)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
