About the Role

As a Remote Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of freight using a Class A CDL. This critical role involves planning routes, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logbooks. Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) to transport freight over long distances.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS and company resources, adhering to delivery schedules.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of driving time and duty status (CDL logs).
• Ensure all cargo is secured properly and complies with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers regarding delays or issues.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., HAZMAT, Doubles/Triples).
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable, recent, and safe driving experience operating Class A vehicles.
• Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record and no major violations.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications
