About the Role

As our AI Consultant, you will operate at the intersection of deep technical expertise and high-level business strategy. You will lead engagements from initial discovery and opportunity mapping through to model deployment and change management. Your primary mission is to translate vague business problems into robust, ethical, and scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable ROI. You will work directly with C-suite executives, product teams, and engineering squads to demystify AI and build a roadmap for sustainable competitive advantage.

Day-to-Day Impact

• Conduct comprehensive AI maturity assessments and identify high-impact use cases for clients across diverse sectors (finance, healthcare, logistics, retail).
• Design end-to-end solution architectures, selecting appropriate technologies (LLMs, predictive models, computer vision) and cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Lead prototype development and proof-of-concepts, often involving hands-on coding in Python and leveraging frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
• Develop clear, compelling narratives and deliverables for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
• Mentor client teams and establish governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

We need a consultant who is as comfortable discussing neural network topology with data scientists as they are presenting a business case to a skeptical CFO. You are a bridge-builder and a problem-solver.

Core Competencies & Experience

• Proven Track Record: 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in a client-facing consulting, solutions architecture, or technical pre-sales role.
• Technical Depth: Mastery of the ML lifecycle. Expertise in Python, data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy), ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch), and MLOps principles (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring).
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to link AI capabilities to business KPIs—cost reduction, revenue growth, customer experience, risk mitigation.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional ability to simplify complex concepts, tell data-driven stories, and facilitate strategic workshops. Fluent in PowerPoint and whiteboarding.
• Ethical Mindset: Strong understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, fairness, and explainability (XAI).

Preferred Extras

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI application design (RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering).
• Direct experience in a specific vertical like fintech, healthtech, or supply chain.
• Relevant certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure AI Specialist, TensorFlow Developer).
• History of publishing research, blogs, or speaking at industry conferences.

Salary Range

$140,000 – $200,000 USD/year (final offer based on experience, proven impact, and market location). This role is also eligible for a performance-based annual bonus and potential equity in our growing firm.
