About the Role

Key Responsibilities

In this fully remote position you will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated optimization models that address real‑world operational challenges. Your day‑to‑day activities will include building linear and integer programming formulations, conducting Monte Carlo simulations, and performing sensitivity analyses to evaluate the robustness of solutions. You will partner closely with supply chain managers, finance teams, and product owners to translate business objectives into quantitative targets, then deliver clear, data‑driven recommendations that drive cost savings and efficiency gains.

Data Visualization & Reporting

You will create interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau, turning complex analytical outputs into intuitive visual stories for executives and operational staff. Regularly preparing concise executive briefs, you will ensure that decision‑makers receive actionable insights without being overwhelmed by technical jargon.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

You will act as the analytical bridge between operations, finance, and product teams, facilitating data‑driven decision making across the organization. Regular sync meetings, workshops, and shared documentation ensure that insights are seamlessly integrated into daily workflows and strategic plans.

Requirements

Education & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline is required. Candidates with a master’s degree or relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) are highly regarded. We seek professionals with at least three years of hands‑on experience applying OR techniques to improve logistics, manufacturing, or service‑process performance.

Technical Proficiency

Strong command of Python (including libraries such as PuLP, SciPy, and Pyomo) or R (using lpSolve and igraph) is essential. Proficiency with SQL for data extraction, experience with optimization solvers like Gurobi, CPLEX, or open‑source CBC, and familiarity with statistical packages (e.g., MATLAB, Stata) are preferred. Comfort with cloud‑based environments (AWS, Azure) and version control (Git) is a plus.

Benefits

Compensation & Perks

Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, you will receive an annual performance bonus, a 401(k) match up to 5% of contributions, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. We also provide a generous paid‑time‑off policy, remote‑work stipend for home‑office equipment, and annual professional‑development allowance for conferences or certifications.

Work‑Life Balance & Well‑Being

Our remote‑first culture emphasizes flexibility and autonomy. You will enjoy a results‑only work environment, flexible hours, and the ability to work from any location within the United States. Monthly virtual wellness sessions, access to an employee assistance program, and a supportive community of analysts contribute to a healthy work‑life balance.

Professional Development & Growth

We invest heavily in your career trajectory. Employees receive a yearly stipend for courses, certifications, and conference attendance, as well as access to an internal learning portal with on‑demand tutorials, mentorship programs, and quarterly performance reviews that align personal goals with company objectives.
