Key Responsibilities

Provide remote clinical assessments via video and chat platforms, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment recommendations. Draft and update electronic medical records with detailed notes and client communications. Collaborate with specialists for complex cases and referrals. Participate in continuous education and quality‑improvement initiatives to stay current with emerging veterinary science. Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of telehealth protocols.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in at least one U.S. state. Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a telehealth or specialty setting. Proficiency with telemedicine software, electronic health records, and digital communication tools. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to convey complex medical information clearly to pet owners.

Compensation
