About the Role

As our Safety Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our safety program, responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety protocols across all Texas locations. You’ll conduct thorough risk assessments, investigate incidents, and provide expert guidance to management and employees. Your primary goal is to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, TX OSHA) while continuously improving safety performance and reducing workplace hazards. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep commitment to creating a safer work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and administer the company’s safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities and processes in Texas and remotely.
• Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employees, tailored to specific job roles.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant state and local safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to integrate safety into daily operations and business decisions.
• Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and regulatory filings.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective safety programs, including hazard identification and risk mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards (General Industry, Construction, or relevant sectors) and ability to interpret regulations.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, accident investigations, and developing corrective action plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively train diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Proficient in using safety management software (e.g., SafetyCulture, JHA, or similar).
