About the Role

As a Remote Background Investigator, you will be the frontline defender of our clients’ reputation and security. You’ll leverage advanced screening tools, public records databases, and proprietary AI‑assisted platforms to verify employment history, education, criminal records, credit reports, and more. All investigations are performed remotely, giving you the flexibility to work from any U.S. state while adhering to strict confidentiality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive background checks for pre‑employment, vendor, and ongoing monitoring requests.
• Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, including court documents, social media, and commercial data providers.
• Prepare clear, concise investigative reports that highlight findings, risk levels, and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain strict compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), GDPR (where applicable), and state‑specific regulations.

Requirements

• Excellent written communication skills—ability to produce professional, legally sound reports.
