About the Role & Our Mission
As a Venture Partner, you will be an external, equity-holding member of our investment team, acting as a critical extension of our fund’s sourcing and due diligence capabilities. Your primary mission is to identify high-potential, early-stage (Pre-Seed to Series A) technology companies, build a compelling investment thesis around them, and guide them through our rigorous evaluation process. You will leverage your established network and sector expertise to bring us proprietary deal flow we would otherwise not see. This is not a traditional 9-5 role; it is a performance-driven partnership where your success is directly tied to the fund’s performance through carried interest and a competitive base salary.
The Venture Partner’s Core Mandate
- Deal Sourcing & Funnel Management: Proactively source 5-10 qualified investment opportunities per quarter from your network and market research.
- Initial Screening & Due Diligence: Conduct first-pass evaluations, market mapping, and foundational due diligence on potential investments.
- Investment Committee Preparation: Develop clear, data-driven investment memos and present compelling cases to the internal investment committee.
- Portfolio Support: Serve as a strategic board observer or advisor for 1-2 portfolio companies, leveraging your operational expertise to help them scale.
- Fundraising & LP Relations: Occasionally assist in fundraising efforts by sharing your network and market insights with potential Limited Partners.
Who You Are: The Ideal Candidate
You are a respected figure in the startup ecosystem with a proven track record. You might be a former founder with a successful exit, a seasoned angel investor with a 10+ track record, a Partner at a smaller VC firm seeking more autonomy, or a high-level operator (e.g., ex-CRO, CTO) at a scaling tech company. You have deep expertise in at least one of our focus sectors: AI/ML, B2B SaaS, FinTech, Climate Tech, or Future of Work.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven Sourcing Track Record: Demonstrated history of sourcing and closing early-stage investments. Angel portfolio of 15+ companies is a strong positive.
- Deep Sector Expertise: 10+ years of experience in technology, either as an investor, founder, or executive. You understand unit economics, business models, and tech trends in your domain.
- Elite Network: Access to founders, other investors, and industry experts. Your LinkedIn and personal network are your most valuable assets.
- Rigorous Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly assess market size, competitive landscapes, team quality, and financial projections. Proficiency in building simple financial models.
- Conviction & Communication: Ability to form strong, contrarian theses and articulate them persuasively to colleagues and founders.
- Self-Starter Mentality: Extreme discipline, organization, and the ability to manage a personal portfolio of activities without daily oversight.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range
