About the Role
As our Remote Safety Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our operational integrity. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual and on-site (as needed) hazard analyses, safety audits, and risk assessments for various operational environments.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and develop actionable corrective/preventative plans.
- Design and deliver engaging remote safety training modules and toolbox talks for all employee levels.
- Maintain and analyze safety metrics, KPIs, and injury/illness logs to identify trends and report to senior management.
- Serve as the primary safety liaison for insurance carriers, regulatory agencies, and clients during audits and inspections.
- Manage the safety budget, vendor relationships for safety equipment, and program documentation.
Requirements
We need a detail-oriented professional with a passion for prevention and a consultative mindset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing safety programs in a multi-site or remote-capable environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive safety management experience, with at least 2 years in a role with remote oversight responsibilities.
- Expert knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and/or 1926 standards, MSHA, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Proficiency with safety management software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, SafetyCulture) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication skills for virtual presentations, report writing, and influencing without direct authority.
