About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a 53‑ft tractor‑trailers or 48‑ft straight trucks, ensuring all safety and compliance standards are met.
• Plan and execute routes using our proprietary navigation platform, optimizing fuel use and delivery times.
• Manage your own fleet’s maintenance schedule, coordinating with local repair shops and keeping detailed logs.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch, shippers, and customers to resolve any routing or delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel, and expense records for billing and tax purposes.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, carrier agreements, and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an owner‑operator or long‑haul driver.
• Own or lease a reliable tractor‑trailer with a clean maintenance history.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal trucking regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Proficiency in using GPS, route‑planning software, and basic accounting tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems on the fly.

Salary Range
