About the Role & Your Impact

As an Assistant General Manager, you are the right-hand to the General Manager and a key driver of our company’s success. Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimize daily business operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies and goals.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Coach, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors and frontline staff. Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
  • Performance Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics (sales, productivity, customer satisfaction, P&L). Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, presenting insights to leadership.
  • Customer & Client Relations: Serve as an escalation point for complex customer or client issues, ensuring swift, satisfactory resolutions that protect and enhance brand reputation.
  • Strategic Support: Assist the General Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Implement new initiatives, programs, and software tools across the organization.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operational areas adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and internal compliance protocols.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in operations management. You must be exceptionally self-motivated, communicative, and comfortable making decisions with limited direct supervision.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 2 years in a senior or assistant manager role within retail, hospitality, SaaS, or a similar customer-centric industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L, budgeting, and driving revenue growth or cost savings.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis) and familiarity with business intelligence or CRM software.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective remote collaboration via Zoom, Slack, and email.
  • Unwavering integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost professionalism.

Salary Range

$55,000 – $75,000 USD/year (Final offer will be commensurate with experience, skill level, and geographic market factors, within our standardized remote compensation band.)
