About the Role

In this fully remote position, you will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of electrical projects, from concept and design through installation, testing, and commissioning. You’ll collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients across multiple time zones, using cloud‑based project management tools to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress against milestones, manage change orders, and ensure adherence to budget (typically $500K–$5M per project).
• Coordinate with design teams to review electrical drawings, specifications, and compliance with NEC, IEC, and local codes.
• Facilitate weekly status meetings, prepare executive reports, and resolve issues that could impact timelines or quality.
• Oversee procurement, vendor selection, and subcontractor performance, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Conduct site‑virtual walkthroughs (via video conferencing) and coordinate field inspections to verify installation quality.
• Close out projects by compiling as‑built documentation, conducting lessons‑learned sessions, and obtaining client sign‑off.

Requirements

Must‑Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience managing electrical projects in commercial, industrial, or renewable energy sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with exposure to multi‑site programs.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet) and collaboration tools (Slack, Teams, Miro).
• Solid understanding of electrical codes (NEC, IEC), safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E), and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
