About the Role

As a core member of our Advanced AI Lab, you will design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models and AI-driven applications. You will transition theoretical research into robust, production-ready systems, working on challenges ranging from natural language processing and computer vision to predictive analytics and autonomous systems. This role is deeply technical and collaborative, requiring you to work alongside product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into our platform. Your work will directly influence our product roadmap and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Research and experiment with cutting-edge AI algorithms, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and tools to solve unique business problems.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and efficiency in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices in MLOps and software engineering.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define AI product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our internal knowledge base and technical community.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in computer science and a passion for AI. The ideal candidate will thrive in a remote, asynchronous environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent professional experience is considered.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
• Expert proficiency in Python and core ML libraries (scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas).
• Deep, practical experience with at least one major deep learning framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of fundamental ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, optimization, evaluation metrics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with software development best practices: version control (Git), CI/CD, testing.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and document your work clearly for a distributed team.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), transformer architectures, or generative AI.
• Background in deploying models for real-time inference and building scalable APIs.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools (Spark, Airflow, Kafka) and big data platforms.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR).

Salary & Compensation

We believe in fair and competitive compensation that reflects your expertise and impact. For this Remote Artificial Intelligence Engineer position, we offer a salary range of $130,000 – $190,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience and skill level. This is not the only component of your total rewards package.
