This isn’t a job; it’s a calling. We are looking for a singularly driven Founder & CEO to take the helm of a pre-seed startup pioneering AI-driven solutions for industrial carbon capture. You will be the first employee, the primary visionary, and the ultimate owner of our destiny. About the Role: The First and Foremost

As our Founder & CEO, you will be the architect of everything. Your core mission is to transform a validated technical concept into a scalable, fundable, and impactful business. You will own the entire company lifecycle, from initial product-market fit and seed funding to building the first core team and establishing our market presence. This role demands a blend of founder-level grit, strategic business acumen, and the charisma to inspire talent, partners, and investors. You will report directly to the Board (which, initially, will be you and our technical co-founder).

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will span the full spectrum: crafting the initial business plan and narrative, leading fundraising efforts (seed round), making the first key hires in engineering, sales, and operations, defining the product roadmap with our technical lead, and establishing our go-to-market strategy. You will be the face of the company, setting the culture and pace for everything that follows.

What You Will Build:

• A robust seed-stage company from a prototype and a compelling thesis.
• A compelling investment narrative that secures $2-3M in non-dilutive and seed capital.
• The first 5-10 person team, hiring for mission-critical roles.
• A clear path to product-market fit within the first 18 months.
• A company culture rooted in urgency, impact, and intellectual honesty.

Requirements: The Founder’s DNA

We are not looking for a checklist of credentials. We are looking for a specific type of person with a proven track record of extreme ownership and creation. You must have:

• Proven Founder or Early-CEO Experience: You have started something from zero—a company, a major product line, or a significant business unit. You have lived the chaos and exhilaration of the first 100 days, 100 weeks, and 100 employees.
• Demonstrated fundraising success or the deep network and persuasive ability to secure a seed round. You can craft a data room and tell a story that moves investors.
• Exceptional Strategic & Analytical Skills: You can deconstruct complex markets, build financial models, and make high-stakes decisions with incomplete data.
• Radical Accountability & Resilience: You thrive under immense pressure, own all outcomes (good and bad), and possess an unwavering belief in your mission coupled with the pragmatism to pivot.
• Superior Communication: You can articulate a complex technical vision simply to a potential hire, an investor, and a future customer. Your writing is crisp, and your presence is magnetic.
• Deep Domain Curiosity (Preferred): Background or passionate interest in climate tech, SaaS, industrial IoT, or AI/ML is a major plus, but raw intellectual horsepower and the ability to learn fast are non-negotiable.

Compensation & Benefits: True Ownership

How to Succeed in This Role (Our Hopes)

In your first 90 days, we hope you will:

1. Immerse yourself completely in the technology and the problem space, becoming our internal expert.
2. Finalize the inaugural business plan, pitch deck, and financial model.
3. Begin your fundraising campaign, aiming to close a seed round within 6-9 months.
4. Make your first two key hires: a Head of Engineering (to scale the prototype) and a business development lead.
5. Establish a weekly cadence with the technical team to ensure product and business strategy are tightly aligned.
