Join our pioneering healthcare technology firm at the forefront of transforming patient outcomes through data-driven insights. We’re seeking a passionate Health Data Analyst to leverage cutting-edge analytics tools and drive strategic decision-making across our network of Florida-based healthcare partners. If you thrive on solving complex problems and have a deep commitment to improving healthcare delivery, this is your chance to make a tangible impact from anywhere in Florida.

About the Role

As our Health Data Analyst, you will be the vital link between vast, complex healthcare datasets and actionable intelligence. Your core responsibility will involve cleaning, validating, and analyzing clinical and operational data to uncover trends, measure performance, and identify opportunities for process improvement. You will collaborate closely with clinical leadership, IT teams, and business analysts to translate technical findings into clear, compelling reports and visualizations that inform critical strategic initiatives. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of healthcare data structures (like HL7, FHIR, claims data), and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility for analysis.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling on large-scale healthcare datasets.
  • Create and deliver regular performance dashboards, reports, and presentations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, IT) to define data requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and data governance standards in all analyses and reporting.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within healthcare data to support quality improvement projects and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Health Data Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with proven experience in healthcare data analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and querying.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data sources, terminologies, and standards (ICD-10, CPT, DRG, SNOMED CT).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with healthcare-specific data platforms or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $95,000 USD annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Generous paid time off and paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Professional development stipend for conferences, certifications, and courses.
  • Flexible work hours and the freedom to work from anywhere within Florida.
  • Collaborative and supportive remote work environment with regular team check-ins.
