About the Role

As a key member of our engineering department, you will take ownership of electrical design packages from conceptual stages through to construction documentation. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines via digital platforms to deliver integrated designs that meet the highest standards of quality, code compliance, and client expectations. Your work will directly influence the functionality and sustainability of buildings and systems that serve communities worldwide.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform load calculations, create single-line diagrams, and specify equipment and materials.
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, specifications, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with the design team to resolve clashes and ensure system integration.
• Review shop drawings and provide design support during construction phases.
• Stay current with NEC, NFPA, and local code amendments to ensure full compliance.

Tools & Technologies

You will work in a cloud-based digital environment. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD is essential. Experience with BIM 360/ACC, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Studio is highly advantageous. Our team leverages Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Asana for seamless communication and project management.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of Revit for MEP.
• Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and related standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear remote collaboration.
• Self-discipline, reliable high-speed internet, and a dedicated, quiet workspace.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with sustainable design frameworks (LEED, WELL).

Salary & Compensation

We offer a highly competitive salary that recognizes your expertise and impact. For this role, the estimated base salary range is $70,000 – $95,000 USD/year. Final compensation will be determined based on your experience, skill level, and professional credentials. This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package as detailed above.
