About the Role

As a Remote Freight, Stock, and Material Mover, you will be the vital link between suppliers, carriers, and customers. Using cloud‑based transportation management systems, you will schedule pickups, monitor transit status, and resolve any discrepancies that arise. The position is fully remote, allowing you to manage logistics operations from any location with a reliable internet connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm inbound and outbound freight shipments via TMS platforms.
• Track real‑time shipment progress and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork.
• Coordinate with carriers to optimize load planning and reduce transit costs.
• Identify and resolve delivery exceptions, damages, or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle‑count initiatives.
• Generate weekly performance reports on transit times, cost per mile, and on‑time delivery.
• Assist in process improvement projects aimed at increasing warehouse throughput.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight coordination, material handling, or inventory control.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (e.g., Oracle TM, SAP TM, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking.
• Excellent communication abilities; capable of liaising with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
