About the Role

As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals facing communication disorders, speech impairments, and swallowing difficulties. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and diagnostic assessments using telehealth technology.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver effective, engaging speech-language therapy sessions remotely, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and digital tools.
• Provide patient and family education on disorders, treatment strategies, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, other healthcare providers, and school districts (as applicable) to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic health records.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Florida.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in adult or pediatric settings.
• Proven experience delivering effective speech-language therapy services via telehealth platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families remotely.
