Day-to-Day Impact

Your first 90 days will be spent in a deep-dive iteration phase: refining the business model, building a minimum viable product (MVP), and securing your first angel or seed investment. Within the first year, you will hire a core team of 5-10 A-players, achieve product-market fit, and establish a repeatable sales or user acquisition engine. This is not a managerial role; it is a creator’s role, where you will be the chief visionary, chief recruiter, and chief fundraiser all rolled into one.

  • Exceptional Communication: Your storytelling ability is world-class, whether you’re recruiting a top engineer, pitching a VC, or writing a compelling blog post to attract early users.

Experience & Mindset

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, product development, or business operations within a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Deep understanding of startup financing, from SAFE/convertible notes to Series Seed.

Compensation & Timeline

To support your immediate focus on building, we offer a competitive founder’s salary of $60,000 – $90,000 USD per year, adjusted for experience and stage. This salary is designed to cover personal expenses during the pre-seed/seed phase. The vast majority of your compensation will be your equity stake. The timeline is aggressive: we aim to close this Founder-in-Residence role within 30 days, with a goal of launching the MVP and beginning fundraising within 90 days of your start date.
