Join a leading technology company that is shaping the future of power systems, renewable energy, and smart manufacturing. In this fully remote role you will design cutting‑edge electrical solutions, lead innovative projects, and collaborate with a talented global team—all from the comfort of your home.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of complex design challenges and drive technical excellence across our product portfolio. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed schematics, optimizing system performance, and ensuring that all solutions meet stringent reliability and safety standards. You will also mentor junior engineers, facilitate design reviews, and act as a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams. This position is 100 % remote, allowing you to work from any location within the United States while contributing to high‑impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Development

Develop comprehensive electrical architectures for new products, utilizing industry‑standard CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Virtuoso, and KiCad. Produce precise PCB layouts, perform signal integrity analyses, and generate manufacturing files that meet strict tolerances. Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical components seamlessly into overall system designs.

Project Management & Leadership

Lead cross‑functional teams through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept validation and prototype testing to mass production release. Establish clear milestones, monitor progress, and ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within budget. Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and communicate status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Technical Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

Provide guidance and coaching to junior engineers, conduct regular design review sessions, and promote best practices in documentation, testing, and version control. Contribute to internal knowledge bases, develop training materials, and mentor others in the use of advanced simulation tools and scripting techniques.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Possess at least seven years of progressive experience in electrical design, development, or related technical roles, with a demonstrable track record of delivering complex projects from concept to production.

Technical Proficiency

Demonstrate expert‑level competence with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence, KiCad), circuit simulation software (MATLAB, PSpice, LTspice), and programming languages such as C/C++ and Python for automated testing, scripting, and data analysis. Experience with high‑speed digital design, power electronics, and mixed‑signal simulation is highly desirable.

Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge

Possess a solid understanding of UL, IEC, FCC, and other relevant safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards. Apply these regulations throughout the design process to ensure that all products meet certification requirements and pass rigorous testing protocols.

Preferred Attributes

Exhibit strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for diverse audiences. A self‑motivated, disciplined work ethic and proven ability to thrive in a fully remote environment are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the compensation package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching contributions, and a generous annual professional development stipend for certifications, courses, and industry conferences. You will also receive paid time off, holiday pay, and a remote‑work equipment allowance to support a productive home office setup.

Why This Opportunity Is Unique

This role provides the rare combination of high‑impact technical work, full remote flexibility, and a supportive culture that prioritizes career growth and work‑life balance. If you are a driven engineer eager to lead innovative electrical projects while enjoying the freedom to work from anywhere in the United States, we encourage you to apply and help shape the next generation of technology.
