About the Role

As a Remote Structural Engineer, you will be at the heart of our project lifecycle, from concept to construction administration. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers globally using cutting-edge BIM and analysis software. Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and bridges using software like ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, and Revit.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and calculations that comply with IBC, ASCE 7, and local building codes.
• Conduct peer reviews and value engineering analyses to optimize designs for cost, safety, and constructability.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams through video conferencing, cloud-based platforms, and project management tools.
• Participate in client presentations and provide technical expertise throughout all project phases.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in engineering principles and the discipline to succeed in a remote setting.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred; Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification required.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in structural design for building or infrastructure projects.
• Mastery of industry-standard software (Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
• Deep understanding of building codes (IBC, ACI, AISC, AISI) and load protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• A reliable home office setup with a stable, high-speed internet connection.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with seismic design, wind engineering, or specialized structures (stadiums, museums, etc.).
• Familiarity with BIM 360/ACC or similar cloud collaboration platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$75,000 – $110,000 USD/year (commensurate with experience, license, and project responsibility).
