About the Role

As a Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support our organization’s programs and initiatives. You’ll work closely with the development team to identify funding opportunities, cultivate donor relationships, and manage grant applications. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program staff to understand funding needs and develop appropriate strategies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development
• Proven track record of securing grants and donations
• Experience with donor database management

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and analytical abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software
