About the Role & Your Impact

As our remote Medical and Health Services Manager, you will serve as the operational backbone of our healthcare delivery model. Key Leadership Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive operational policies and procedures that ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS) in a remote context.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of clinical supervisors, administrators, and support staff across multiple locations, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for health service departments, analyzing data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between medical staff, department heads, and senior leadership, facilitating clear communication and resolving complex operational challenges.
• Implement and optimize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other health IT tools to support remote clinical workflows and data integrity.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives, patient satisfaction programs, and risk management protocols, using data analytics to identify trends and drive improvement.
• Prepare and present detailed operational reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to executive leadership and governing bodies.

What You Bring: Qualifications & Experience

We need a seasoned leader with a proven track record in healthcare operations management. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing a P&L statement as they are coaching a clinical team through a process change.

Required Credentials & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) strongly preferred.
• Certification: Certified Medical Manager (CMM), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) is a significant plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations or administrative management, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership or managerial role. Experience managing remote or distributed teams is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis), and healthcare data analytics platforms. Proven ability to learn and implement new software.
• Core Competencies: Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Joint Commission standards), budgeting/financial management, quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), and strategic planning.

The Total Package: Compensation & Benefits

This is a senior-level, exempt position with a highly competitive salary reflecting the strategic impact of the role.

Salary Range

$110,000 – $155,000 USD/year

Final compensation will be commensurate with experience, certifications, and proven track record of leadership in healthcare operations.
