About the Role
As a Remote Substance Abuse Counselor, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide accessible, high-quality addiction treatment. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for substance use disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans ( utilizing CBT, MI, DBT, etc.).
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and community resources to coordinate client care.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines, state regulations, and agency protocols for telehealth service delivery.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and required training.
Requirements
We are looking for a clinician who combines deep empathy with sharp clinical skills and the ability to build rapport in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, tech-savvy, and deeply committed to the recovery model.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent (LPC, LMHC) in at least one U.S. state. Please specify your licensed state(s) in your application.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical counseling for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Proven experience and comfort with telehealth/telemedicine platforms and conducting therapy remotely.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey empathy and clarity digitally.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range
