Working entirely from home, you will collaborate with clinical staff, coders, and payers to resolve denials, streamline documentation, and maintain rigorous adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic claim forms for a high‑volume specialty practice.
• Analyze claim rejections and implement corrective actions to improve acceptance rates.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of payer policies, coding updates, and reimbursement trends.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reimbursement reports for leadership review.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters to resolve complex billing inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing or reimbursement within a specialty setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software such as Epic, Athena, or Kareo.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding principles.

Preferred Experience
