About the Role

As a Master Electrician, you will be the technical leader on job sites, responsible for the complete lifecycle of complex electrical installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting. You will mentor apprentice electricians, ensure strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local Austin regulations, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project managers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commercial and residential electrical projects from planning to final inspection.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes with precision.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, control systems, and electrical fixtures.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system faults efficiently.
• Train and oversee apprentice electricians, ensuring quality workmanship and safety.
• Perform thorough site inspections and complete all required documentation.
• Maintain inventory and care of company tools and vehicle.

What We’re Looking For

We need a proactive, detail-oriented professional who values safety and craftsmanship above all else. The ideal candidate is a licensed Texas Master Electrician with a proven track record in both commercial and residential settings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Active Texas Master Electrician License (non-negotiable).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in the field.
• Expert knowledge of the NEC, local Austin codes, and commercial/industrial systems (3-phase, panels, transfer switches, etc.).
• Proficiency in reading commercial blueprints and technical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ownership of your own basic hand tools.

Salary Range
