About the Role

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Vitality, you will conduct individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing.

You’ll work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Our platform handles

scheduling, billing, and administrative tasks so you can focus entirely on clinical care. This is a 100% work-from-home

position open to licensed counselors (LMHC, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent) residing in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy through telehealth sessions
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation (intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans)
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and case managers as needed for coordinated care
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 client hours per week (flexible scheduling)
• Participate in weekly virtual case consultation groups and optional peer supervision

Requirements

Licensure & Education

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Active, unrestricted license as an LMHC, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent in your state of residence
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred

Technology & Remote Setup

• High-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
• A private, quiet workspace free from distractions
• Comfort with using electronic health records (EHR) and video platforms

Clinical Skills

• Experience with CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based approaches, or trauma-informed care
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport and trust via virtual communication

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 USD/year (based on experience and caseload)
• Flexible scheduling – set your own hours between 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM (your time zone)
