About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to adult patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and multi‑system disorders in a fast‑paced intensive care unit. Coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform procedures such as central line insertion, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring. Document patient assessments accurately and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license in good standing with at least two years of acute care experience, preferably in an ICU or cardiac step‑down setting. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; graduate coursework is a plus. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required, with ability to maintain them throughout employment. Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range

$45,000 – $65,000 USD/year, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.
