About the Role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Remote Fire Engineer to join our safety-focused team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems for various building types and industries. Salary Range
We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 – $95,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we provide performance-based bonuses and opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire alarms, and suppression systems
- Analyze building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with fire codes and regulations
- Conduct fire risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for installation teams
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and building owners to integrate fire safety solutions
- Stay current with evolving fire safety technologies and building codes
- Provide remote support to installation teams during system implementation
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection system design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Proficiency with fire protection design software and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local building regulations
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering
