About the Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Remote Fire Engineer to join our safety-focused team. As a Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems for various building types and industries. This is a fully remote position that offers the perfect blend of technical challenge and work-life balance.

Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary of $75,000 – $95,000 USD per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we provide performance-based bonuses and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems including sprinklers, fire alarms, and suppression systems
• Analyze building plans and specifications to ensure compliance with fire codes and regulations
• Conduct fire risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Create detailed technical drawings and documentation for installation teams
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and building owners to integrate fire safety solutions
• Stay current with evolving fire safety technologies and building codes
• Provide remote support to installation teams during system implementation

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection system design
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Proficiency with fire protection design software and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local building regulations
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering
• Experience with specialized fire protection systems for industrial facilities
• FPE (Fire Protection Engineer) certification
• Experience with sustainable fire protection solutions
• Prior remote work experience
