About the Role: Shaping Operational Success

As our Commissioning Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our commissioning process. You’ll oversee the entire commissioning lifecycle for assigned projects, from initial planning and coordination through final system validation and handover. Your primary focus will be ensuring all commissioned systems meet stringent technical specifications, performance criteria, and regulatory requirements. You’ll manage cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and vendors, fostering collaboration to resolve challenges and drive projects to successful completion. Key Responsibilities: Delivering Commissioning Excellence

**Project Leadership:** Manage the commissioning scope, schedule, and budget for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within defined parameters.

**Scope Definition & Planning:** Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures aligned with project requirements and industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC).

**Team Management & Coordination:** Lead, mentor, and coordinate commissioning engineers, technicians, and external contractors. Facilitate effective communication across all stakeholders.

**System Verification & Validation:** Oversee functional testing, performance verification, and acceptance testing of complex mechanical, electrical, and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, controls).

**Compliance & Documentation:** Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements. Maintain comprehensive, accurate commissioning reports and documentation.

**Issue Resolution:** Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve technical and logistical challenges encountered during commissioning.

**Client & Stakeholder Liaison:** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project teams, providing clear status updates and managing expectations.

Qualifications: Proven Commissioning Expertise

**Experience:** Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in commissioning, with 3+ years in a managerial/lead role managing complex projects.

**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent) or a related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.

**Technical Knowledge:** Deep understanding of commissioning principles, procedures, and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, IBC, IFC, etc.). Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, commissioning software).

**Leadership & Communication:** Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences (engineers, clients, contractors).

**Project Management:** Strong project management skills, including scope definition, risk management, scheduling, and budget control.

**Certifications:** Preferred: Certified Commissioning Authority (CCxA), LEED AP, or other relevant industry certifications.
