About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies with precision and attention to detail
• Generate comprehensive and accurate radiology reports
• Consult with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment options
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case conferences
• Stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Requirements

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Radiology
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
• New York State medical license
• DEA registration for controlled substances
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills
• Excellent communication abilities for patient and physician interactions

Preferred Experience

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty such as neuroradiology, interventional radiology, or body imaging
• 3+ years of experience in a busy clinical practice
• Experience with PACS systems and advanced imaging technologies
• Academic or research experience in radiology

Salary Range

The annual compensation for this Radiologist position ranges from $350,000 to $550,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and subspecialty expertise. Additional compensation may be available for academic contributions, research participation, and call coverage.
