What You’ll Do

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Facilitate communication and social interaction through tailored activity planning and crisis de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized support plans.
• Transport clients to medical appointments, recreational outings, and community events as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and document progress toward client objectives.

Requirements

To ensure the highest standard of care, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must-Have Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in direct support services or a related field.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for client transportation duties.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passing background check and drug screening.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• Fluency in Spanish or another language spoken by our diverse client population.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, or mental health conditions.
