About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other reputable databases.
• Manage case calendars, track filing deadlines, and coordinate court appearances.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files in compliance with firm policies.
• Assist with client intake, interview witnesses, and gather supporting evidence.
• Support billing processes by tracking time entries and preparing invoices.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
• Proficiency with legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, precise legal documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
