About the Role

As a Registered Nurse on our medical‑surgical unit, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement nursing care for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality direct patient care, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication reconciliation. Conduct thorough assessments and document findings in electronic health records with accuracy and timeliness. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication management, and discharge instructions. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety rounds, and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance patient outcomes and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification; ACLS preferred. Minimum of two years of acute care experience in a hospital setting, with a proven track record of delivering compassionate, evidence‑based nursing. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork and patient advocacy. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher is highly preferred, though an associate degree with significant experience will also be considered.
