InnovateTech Solutions is seeking a visionary Senior Software Engineer to architect and deploy the next generation of our secure, scalable cloud platform. You will move beyond writing code to owning critical systems that directly revolutionize patient care and data analytics for top-tier medical institutions nationwide.

About the Role

This isn’t just another engineering role. You will be a foundational pillar of our Platform Engineering team, responsible for the core infrastructure that powers our flagship AI diagnostics suite. Your work will ensure our systems handle sensitive health data with unparalleled security, reliability, and performance. You’ll collaborate closely with our AI research scientists and product leads to translate complex models into robust, production-grade services used by doctors daily. We operate with a modern tech stack (Kubernetes, Go, Python, Kafka, AWS/GCP) and a “you build it, you run it” DevOps culture, giving you end-to-end ownership and significant technical autonomy.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices and data pipelines.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of new platform features, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
• Champion engineering best practices: code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and comprehensive monitoring.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to our culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain HIPAA and SOC2 certifications effortlessly.

Requirements

Must-Have Expertise

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Mastery of at least one systems language (Go, Java, C#, Rust) and strong Python proficiency.
• Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems at scale in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB) databases.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Nice-to-Have Attributes

• Previous experience in the healthcare, fintech, or other highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies (Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a visible technical blog/portfolio.
• Experience with machine learning model serving frameworks (TensorFlow Serving, TorchServe, KServe).

Salary Range

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $190,000 USD/year. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location. The total compensation package includes bonus eligibility and equity.
