You will leverage your expertise in destinations, accommodations, and activities to craft bespoke itineraries that exceed expectations. You will utilize industry-leading booking tools and maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel trends, regulations, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and special requirements.
• Research and recommend destinations, flights, hotels, tours, and transportation options.
• Design customized travel itineraries, including day-by-day activities and dining reservations.
• Handle all booking arrangements, including reservations, ticketing, and travel insurance.
• Provide exceptional pre-departure and on-trip support, addressing any issues that arise.
• Stay informed about visa requirements, vaccination policies, and travel advisories.
• Maintain accurate client records and manage follow-up communications for future opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Travel Adviser, Travel Planner, or similar role (at least 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and logistics.
• Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field is advantageous.
• Must be a resident of the United States and legally authorized to work.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this Remote Travel Adviser position is between $45,000 and $65,000 USD, depending on experience and performance. In addition to base compensation, you will have access to commission opportunities and performance-based bonuses.
