About the Role

As a Remote Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the development of electrical systems for a variety of cutting-edge projects. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, layouts, and system architectures using industry-standard software.
• Lead electrical design reviews and ensure all deliverables meet regulatory and safety standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
• Perform detailed electrical load calculations, fault analysis, and power distribution studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader project scopes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across distributed teams.
• Review and approve vendor submittals, specifications, and technical documentation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering design and analysis.
• Proficiency with CAD and electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, Revit, or SolidWorks Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and relevant IEEE standards.
• Proven experience with power distribution, motor control centers, PLCs, and VFD systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
