About the Role

As our Safety Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our safety program, responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training across all construction sites. You will lead safety inspections, investigations, and audits, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company standards. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a proactive safety culture that permeates every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and enforce site-specific safety plans and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of all construction sites, equipment, and processes.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all levels of the organization.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Act as the primary safety liaison with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Safety Manager with a proven track record in construction safety. A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field is essential. You must possess a minimum of 5 years of progressive safety leadership experience within the construction sector, with specific expertise in OSHA 30-Hour Training and Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926). A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation is highly desirable. You must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and a deep commitment to fostering a culture of safety.
