About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the primary technical authority responsible for mapping business goals to cloud solutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and operations teams to ensure that our infrastructure is not only robust but also cost-effective and future-proof. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys solving architectural puzzles and mentoring junior engineers to deliver world-class software products.

Salary Range

$130,000 – $170,000 USD/year

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

You will be responsible for creating comprehensive architecture diagrams and documentation. This includes defining the right mix of serverless functions, containerized microservices, and managed databases to meet latency and throughput requirements. You will evaluate new cloud services and tools to ensure we are always using the best technology available to solve complex business problems.

Implementation & Support

While you won’t be writing every line of code, you will be deeply involved in code reviews and deployment strategies. You will act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and provide guidance on disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Your goal is to remove blockers for the development team so they can ship features faster and maintain high uptime for our customers.

Requirements

Must Have

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Expert-level knowledge of at least two major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
