You will directly impact customer satisfaction, team performance, and profitability during your shifts, with a clear path toward senior management. This is your opportunity to build leadership experience in a dynamic, supportive environment where your decisions shape the business every single day.

About the Role & Our Mission

As a Shift Manager, you are the leader on the floor, responsible for seamless operations from opening to close. You will bridge the gap between corporate strategy and frontline execution, ensuring our standards are met while fostering a positive, productive team culture. We are a growing hospitality group committed to exceptional guest experiences and internal growth, and we need a proactive, solutions-oriented manager to own the daily rhythm of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all shift activities including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and adherence to health & safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of 10-15 crew members and junior leads. Provide real-time coaching, conduct pre-shift meetings, and manage shift scheduling.
  • Guest Experience Champion: Ensure every customer receives outstanding service. Resolve complaints swiftly and turn potential issues into positive experiences.
  • Performance & Reporting: Meet and exceed daily sales and labor targets. Accurately complete end-of-shift reports and communicate key metrics to the General Manager.
  • Culture Carrier: Uphold company values, promote a clean and safe work environment, and build morale through recognition and team-building.

What You Bring (Requirements)

We are looking for a natural leader with a passion for service. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced retail, food service, or hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse team, delegate effectively, and handle conflict resolution with professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, labor reports, and inventory levels to make immediate decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills—clear, confident, and positive with both team members and customers.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional management or hospitality coursework is a strong plus.
